DOCTOR'S APPT 36W 5D
Went to the doctor this morning. Still only 1cm. Head down. Sonogram showed she is 7lbs and 14oz. I pray she is a little off. She will be around 8 1/2 lbs if she is right. Still have to get baskets for storage for her room, a diaper caddy, and still have some of her clothes to be washed before she gets here. I have my bags packed and waiting. Just keeping my hair dryer and make-up out for every day uses. My best friends mom gave me the wreath for the door this weekend, and it is very cute I might add. Also, Nichole made me the cutest burp cloths and bibs and diaper bag from their business Lady Bugs and Lassos (click the link on my side bar, they have great stuff). I have pictures from the shower at Nichole's house this weekend, but I didn't bring my camera to upload them....hopefully soon. I am so behind on posting pictures. Sorry.

Still Here
Hi guys! Just a quick note to let you all know I am still here (if I still have any readers). The pregnancy is going great. I will be 35 weeks tomorrow, can you believe it!! I have the first of my weekly doctors appointments next week. I can't beleive how close Maci is to being here. I am also a little freaked out and EXTREMELY busy at work trying to get everything ready to leave on maternity. I do have some shower pictures to post and her room to reveal, I just haven't had a spare second to upload the picutres. I hope to get them uploaded and posted atleast by this weekend. Just wanted to let everyone know I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth, and I hope you are all doing well.

Very Scary Day
We had a little scare yesterday. Little missy decided to take a really long, really still nap on me. Didn't move a muscle from the time I woke up at 6:00am until after 1:00pm. I freaked!!! I did everything I knew to do, I drank a sugary cold drink, I ate, and laid on my side (sort of, in a recliner on our showroom floor)...I poked, and rubbed, and shook my belly trying to make her move....NOTHING!! I went to the doctor at 1:00 on the verge of a panic attack, and they hooked me up to the fetal monitors! Her heart was beating away just fine, and about 15 minutes in to them placing the little-tiny-not-heavy-at-all monitors on my stomach that weren't nearly as aggrivating as what I had been doing to my belly all moring, she started trying to kick them off, like they were bothering her...FIGURES!!! But thats ok, I was so glad she was kicking at them, all I could do was laugh. She even had the hiccups for a little while, and I could hear them on the monitor, so that was very neat. I was just glad everything was ok. Now I am counting kicks twice a day and keeping records of them on a sheet the doctor gave me, but everything is great!! I can't wait until this little girl gets here!! Less than 7 weeks until my due date!!

It's been a while...
I know it's been a while since I have posted! I am really neglecting this blog and it bothers me a little. There are so many things going on in my world and I haven't quite figured out how to put them all into words without sounding like I am whining, so I have remained silent on most of them.
Everything with baby Maci is fine, and the pregnancy is going well. I am now on the every 2 weeks schedule with my doctor, and time is flying and creeping by all at the same time. Aside from the normal swollen feet, aching back, and reflux that keeps me up all night I really feel great, I love being pregnant. Baby girl is doing well, and I can even see her wiggling around now. It's the coolest thing to watch my stomach jump around and roll when she moves. I will have to work on another belly picture soon (probably minus my head, I hate the way my face looks right now)!
Just thought I would drop in to let anyone who might still be reading know that I am still here, and the pregnancy is going great.

Random Thoughts 3
Just a quick post to let you know I am still here....
I have moved positions at work and moved locations. I am glad for the change, but I stay extremely busy! I don't have much time to blog anymore (sniff). Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know I have not fallen off the face of the earth.
Our air went out last Thursday, and we couldn't find anyone to replace it until Monday. That was a miserable weekend. I stayed at Nichole's house or Mom's until Monday night. I really appreciated them letting me stay, but I really missed Bill for those 4 nights (he stayed at our house).
I am now halfway through my pregnancy, and VERY excited. I have started feeling the baby move, not very strong or regular, but I am feeling her and I know it's her. I still don't
"look" pregnant, I just look like I am gaining weight, I am getting wider instead of getting a belly...LOL
We are 99% sure we have decided on her name, but I am not going to announce just yet because we don't have a middle name and we are pretty wishy washy about these things.
Papaw got a semi-good report from the doctor this week, the cancer has NOT spread to any surrounding cells that they tested. He has a doctor's appointment next Thursday. From what I understand (which isn't much) they will run some tests to make sure the cancer hasn't spread to other organs. So please keep praying for him.
Well time is short, and I need to run grab some lunch...

18 weeks 1 day
*****UPDATE*****
Silly me....I have twitter, so follow me on twitter and I will let you know this afternoon if it's a boy or girl...DUH...
I go to the doctor today! I am very excited and very nervous so say a prayer for my nerves if you would. We are going to find out if our baby is a boy baby or a girl baby. Everyone seems to think it will be a boy. I don't have any feelings either way, honestly. My appointment is at 2:15, but the way my clinic has been running lately it will be after 5:00 before we get out of there, so don't look for an answer until tomorrow. Sorry guys, we are poor at the moment and don't have internet access at home or even a computer for that matter.
Anyway, until tomorrow....wish us luck!!
Oh and PS...sorry I haven't posted any belly pics...I just don't have a pregnant belly yet...I have only gained 3 lbs so far (is that normal)...I can't wait to get a big pregnant belly, and as soon as I do, I will definitely post a picture.

Random Thoughts 2
I am 16 weeks and 5 days pregnant today. I am getting excited and nervous about my appointment next week on Thursday. I am excited to know if we are having a boy or a girl, and nervous because I am always nervous about my doctor's appointments. I have been "trying" so hard to feel the baby move this week. I have tried eating and then laying flat on my back to see if I can feel any flutters. I have tried lying on my stomach; and I have tried lying on my left side. I haven't felt anything yet!! I just keep praying I start feeling something soon, I think that would help my nerves ALOT!! I am open to suggestions...how soon did you feel you baby move, and what did you do to make it easier to feel or make the baby move??
The new venture Bill was working on fell through, so please keep praying for direction for us in the area of his job. This is an area of HUGE stress to us right now.
My friend Nichole, that I wrote about here, has a blog of her own now!! I am very excited about that!
I am really missing my cat these days. I don't know if I have ever talked about him on the blog before. He died a couple of years ago, but he was like our baby since we didn't have any kiddos. His name was kitt-katt and he was the sweetest kitty in the world. He wasn't your typical "prissy cat" he loved to be held and to cuddle. He wasn't happy unless he was near us. If Bill and I would sit by each other on the couch, he would wedge his way in between us. He was so sweet. He was almost 3 years old when he died. He had a heart condition that the vet told us wasn't serious, but proved to be fatal. We woke up one Sunday morning (Feb. 28, 2007) and he had died in the night. I have missed him in the past, but lately it seems to be worse, I think it's the pregnancy hormones, and the fact that I took his pictures out the other day and was looking at them. Anyway, I thought I would post a few pictures here and introduce you all to my baby kitt-katt!! I miss him a lot!!
He loved to sit in the window and watch the lizards play outside.
This was his favorite place when we started a fire in the fire place. Whenever Bill brought fire wood in the house (before the fire was ever started) he would go lay down right in this same spot every time and wait for Bill to get the fire going.Posted by Heather at 10:05 AM 3 COMMENTS

15 Week Check-Up
I had my 15 week check up yesterday. I was actually 14 weeks and 6 days I am always a day early on my check up, because my "roll over" days are on Wednesdays, and Wendesday's are Dr. Meck's surgery days.
It was a great check-up, they listened to the baby's heart on the doppler (this time they found it, so no sono pics). The heart rate was 162 BPM, and we even HEARD the baby kicking and moving. I didn't realize you could do that.
Monday night, I started having anxiety attacks again, I was very nervous about the appointment. I get nervous before all of my appointments, but for some reason I was more nervous about this appointment than any other one so far. I am not sure why. She did give me a prescription for the horrible heartburn I have been having and I will be very happy to get that filled today. She offered a medication for the anxiety, but I refused, as long as the anxiety attacks aren't hurting the baby, I can handle them. Anyway, everything was great and I left the office feeling 100% better.
We will go back on July 30th to find out if we are having a boy or girl. My mother-in-law thinks we are having a boy (I think she is just wishful thinking). My mother and grandmother think I am having a girl. I WANT a girl, mainly because I just don't know what to do with boys (but will be happy with whatever God gives me). I don't actually have any "feelings" myself on what I feel like it will be. Bill would like a girl too (but will be a happy as well with what ever God gives us), but he is convinced it will be a boy because he has dreamed about having a boy several times.
....So what do you think?? Boy or Girl??

Random Thoughts
Hey Y'all! I am still here. Just haven't had much new to say. It's been at or over 100 degrees here for the past week or so, and it's just been miserable...it's not helping my mood any. Not to mention I can't even remember the last time it rained.
In pregnancy News. I am still exhausted, nauseous, and over all irritable. I am 13 weeks and 2 Days today. Apparently my baby is the size of a peach and weighs about an ounce today. It's little fingerprints have formed and it's little body is trying to catch up with the size of it's head. How fun is that!!
I have a slight "bump" now. I am hesitant to take pictures yet, because I had gained so much weight before I got pregnant this time and because if you aren't very familiar with my appearance before hand, I only look fat not pregnant...but I promise as soon as I have a definite "pregnant belly" I will start posting pictures.
I have had "beach fever" lately. I desperately would like for Bill and I take a vacation to the beach before this summer is out, but the funds are limited, not to mention the time I am already having to take off work for doctor appointments and maternity leave this year, it would just seem a little excessive to take off for a week this summer.
Bill is working on a new endeavor...can't say much more than that at this point, but just pray about that with me. It sounds like a very good opportunity, and we are both very excited. It's only in our minds right now, we just have to make it a reality. Sorry to be so vague, but that's all I can be now.
I hated to hear about Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson passing away yesterday. The first thought that ran through my mind was I hope they got the chance to know Jesus before they stepped into eternity. However, I can't understand all of the hoop-la that is going on with Michael Jackson's passing. Really, he was just a man.
Work is going alright, some things have changed around here, and I haven't had my hours cut yet. However, it does require me to work out of both our offices (which isn't a bad thing at all). I am kind of enjoying the change of scenery from time to time.
My sister is getting so cute with her little pregnant belly. I just love it, and can't wait to get a belly like that myself. She can feel the baby kicking strong and moving around now. It's so cool...even though little Harvest is shy around her Aunt Heather (I haven't been able to feel her kick yet).
Let's see....anything else???? Guess that's it for now...hopefully I will start feeling more like posting again soon. I have got to get back to my Tasty Tuesday's and Wacky Wednesday's.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

12 Weeks and Prayers
So I keep hearing that things are suppose to get better by the 12th week of pregnancy, right??
I am so extremely exhausted, and still having horrible food aversions. I am 12 weeks and 2 days, so what gives?? I go to work, come home, some nights I might cook dinner (although my poor husband might disagree with that statement), then shower and go straight to bed. There were a few nights that I have actually been in bed before 7:00!! That is highly unusual for me, but lately that has been the norm. I am not complaining mind you, I will endure anything uncomfortable that is thrown at me, because the end result has been so long awaited. I just wish I could get that burst of energy everyone talks about during the second trimester so that I can get some stuff done around my house...There is so much to do and so little time to do it.
Switching gears....
I wanted to take a minute to ask everyone to pray for Stellan, he is in the hospital again. Check out MckMama's Blog for the latest details.
Also, a friend of a friend is in need of a miracle right now. Aimee is a friend of Nichole's family. Her family is in need of a miracle, her 28 year old brother suffered a stroke yesterday. I am not sure of the details, but I know things have taken a sharp turn for the worst today and the doctors aren't giving him much of a chance. They are going to do surgery (again not sure what type of surgery) but they are telling the family he is likely to not make it, they believe he is possibly already brain dead. Please be praying for this family, they need a miracle!!

I have a secret...
Today I am 11 weeks and 2 days pregnant! I was going to wait until I was officially out of my first trimester to "announce" because of my loss last year. However, some crazy things have happened in the past 2 weeks and I just couldn't wait any longer....I am way too excited (and nervous, please keep praying for me)
I decide to document everything, from the time I found out I was pregnant until now, in draft form so that I wouldn't forget anything. Also, the end of the post explains my recent tweets and break from the blog. I was having a few problems, but all is well now, Praise the Lord!!

Remember when I posted this post about the way I felt on my due date?
God is so amazing, he allowed my first OB appointment to be on my due date. He took a day I thought was going to be one of the worst days of my life, and turned it into pure joy. I went to the doctor today, they did blood work to check my hormone levels, which were great. I also talked to the OB Educator who took down all of my medical history and gave me lots of magazines, info packets, and forms to fill out. She also scheduled a sonogram for 5.19.09. I will be 7 weeks and 6 days which is exactly how far along I was when I found out I lost my baby last time. I am a little apprehensive, but I know God is in control!
Side Note: Bill went to the doctor with me....he thought the forms were "a little personal"....I am thinking "Babe, things are about to get a lot more personal that THAT!" Ha!
My doctor called me back this afternoon, they want me to come in Thursday for an early sonogram. Not because anything is wrong, but she wasn't involved in the decision to wait two weeks for my first sonogram. My doctor didn't want to wait that long. I am a little excited and ALOT nervous.

Mom went with me to the Sonogram appointment, Bill had to work. We heard the baby's heartbeat. It was a wonderful sound. I almost let fear get the best of me in the sonogram room. That is such a place of pain for me. I almost closed my eyes, I can't say I truly enjoyed it until I left and got in my car and realized the sound I heard was MY LIVING BABY!

Had my 2nd sonogram today, every thing looked great! Nichole went with me this time, Bill was extremely sick and couldn't go. I was VERY disappointed that he didn't get to see our baby today, but was so excited that Aunt Nichole and Grey got to see his "girl friend" (at least that's what we are are hoping for). We would like a girl, but will be elated with whatever God chooses for us... Guess I have to wait another 10 weeks to find out what that is.

Started bleeding today, I completely freaked....I got to the doctor's office as soon as they opened. They did a sonogram as soon as I got there. They wanted to make sure the baby's heart was still beating and it was measuring on track. I have never been so scared in my life. Once the appointment was over and everything checked out alright, the baby's heart rate was 171 bpm and was measuring right on track. I wasn't dilated, so they sent me home to rest until my appointment next week. After the roller coaster of emotions I need the rest.

Appointment went well today. I can go back to work tomorrow. They were trying to hear the heartbeat on the Doppler, but the baby wouldn't cooperate. My doctor said "she must be a girl because she wants her picture taken" LOL...so she sent me to sonogram. I was terrified waiting for sonogram. Then I saw it's little heart beat on the screen just beating away. It wasn't moving as much this time, it must have been as sleepy as mommy (Wink). Everything checked out great and I am finally off "house arrest" things are definitely looking up. I have another appointment in 4 weeks.
